Visit your GP and request a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP). The GP assesses your mental health and provides a referral. With the MHTP you're entitled to 10 Medicare-rebated psychology sessions per calendar year. After your first 6 sessions, return to the GP for a review to access the remaining 4.
